About Wine Spotter Wine Spotter was lovingly hand-crafted by me, Master Webmaker Rob Zazueta. This labor of love was forged through my passion for wine, community and, of course, web development. I spent many a sleepless evening bathed in the glow of my monitor, cultivating only the finest code, carefully stringing it together and delivering it to your computer. The goal of Wine Spotter is to build a community of wine lovers of all stripes - from the hard-nosed afficionado who wears the label "snob" as a badge of honor to the occassional drinker seeking to enhance their education and experience without all the pretention. Wine Spotter is forged on the belief that we can all benefit from each other's experience - the neophytes can gain wisdom from the encyclopaedic knowledge of the snobs and the connoisseurs can see the vintages they adore through the eyes of the "beginner's mind". Above all, Wine Spotter - which takes its name from the pioneering men and women who broke ahead of the wagon trains to "spot" the best lands to settle - is about exploration and enjoyment. After all, the greatest joys in wine come not only from greeting old friends under the cork, but stretching one's horizons to find new favorites to enjoy and share with friends and loved ones.
